The TopHobbyTrains N Scale EMD SDP40F sound package includes full bi-directional operation and lighting using the latest technology from ESU LokSound.  TophobbyTrains doesn't just add a sound decoder to the model.  We recreate, in miniature, the Amtrak look by prototypically re-illuminating and animating all of the SDP40F lights.  Additionally our 'On The Fly' operator options allow the miniature engineer lighting control during operating sessions not found in other sound installed locomotives.  The full featured LokSound ver 5 decoder provides very fine motor control taking full advantage of the superior Kato engineering.  LokSound renound sound reproduction abilities are fully realized in this mod with our custom sound project featuring many added sounds providing a realistic fun filled replica of the prototype for your railroad empire.

DCC Sound installation:

• Dissemble loco
• Modify stock circuit board
• Mill frame to accept LokSound Speakers
• Hard wire the full feature LokSound Micro ver5 decoder
• Install speaker
  
• Custom wire SM LEDs - headlight and rear light
  
• Modify roof mounted light and illuminate with simulated Gyra light & seprateley light the number boards (Model specific)
  
• Load custom programming and sound project to decoder program uses the recording of the correct Leslie SL-4T D# minor 7th tuned air horn for the SDP40F. 

• Each loco is tested for all functions and operation running for ward and back over turnouts and hills
