Sound and Light package for Kato N Scale E - F or PA/PB Unit locomotives. Where appropriate the simulated mars lighting is professionally installed by TopHobbyTrains.
Please note that: Everything is self contained for maxium realism and versitility.
Give your layout and running sessions the dimension of sound with TopHobby's Kato diesel sound and light package. The LokSound decoder faithfully reproduces the distinctive sounds of the appropriate prime mover. Operation of the loco is smooth and consistent through the throttle range.
Here is what we do:
- Dissemble the loco
- Mill the frame to accept the decoder and speaker
- Isolate the motor
- modify and hard wire the decoder to existing light board
- For MARS light installations we replace the headlight and wire in 2 SM LEDs
- Program the decoder for Headlight /Mars light operation as appropriate.
- Install TopHobbyTrains custom sound configuration and function mapping
- Lubricate the tower gears.
- Test loco for proper operation and running characteristics
