We have had many requests to install sound in the new FVM GEVO. So if you have one of these locos and would like a professional sound and custom lighting installation we are your choice.
DCC Sound installation:
Here is what we do:
- Dissemble loco
- Modify stock circuit board
- Mill Frame
- Hard wire LokSound Micro or Soundtraxx Tsunami2 decoder to Stock light board
- Modify both front and rear light tubes
- Replace headlight and rear light with THT SMD LED assebllies (DCC controlled)
- Custom wire in 2 THT SMD LED assemblies for the flashing ditch lights (DCC controlled)
- Load custom programming and sound project to decoder
- Each loco is tested for all functions and operation running for ward and back over turnout and hills

THT's sound and lighting package for FVM products exceeded my expectations of what can be accomplished in N Scale. Turnaround time is phenomenal. I have tried competitor's sound packages, and I have not found any that equal the throttle control or sound quality that comes with the LokSound. Color others envious when they see and hear my THT engines.
