LokSound V5 decoders help many H0 model railroaders to operate their locos with realistic sounds, something that friends of the smaller N and TT gauges don´t need to do without. We even once more reduced the new LokSound micro DCC V5 decoder´s dimensions compared to its forerunner. With a size of only 21mm x 10 mm it is the smallest LokSound sound decoder!

Since there are also no more mechanical obstacles in the way, it is a pleasure to enjoy all the decoder´s features: the LokSound micro V5.0 incorporates a complete digital decoder, which, besides DCC and Motorola®, also understands Selectrix®. Beside the two light outputs we were even able to integrate a sound-section, equal to that of its bigger brothers and two user selectable function outputs. 

Here is what we do:

• Dissemble the loco
• Modify stock light board for decoder location
• Modify the shell as needed to accept the decoder
• Hard wire LokSound Micro decoder and speaker
• Re wire rear add SM LED light
• Lubricate the tower gears
• Program Loco with custom sound project with diesel sound project
• Test loco at various speed over turnouts and hills
