Kato SDP40F Diesel Locomotive - N Scale

Hot on the heels of the upcoming ACS-64 “Cities Sprinter” locomotive, Kato announces a new Amtrak^® project for 2016 – the EMD SDP40F! With this release, Kato will have covered nearly the entire lifespan of Amtrak’s electric and diesel passenger locomotives.

• The first locomotive built specifically for Amtrak^® service!Like the prototype, the SDP40F is based off of the Kato SD40-2 Early Drive, making it a proven and reliable mechanical design that will be easily upgradable with a decoder for DCC operation!
