MT2000-1 Coupler Conversion (N Scale)
Now you can convert...
your Kato F3A, F7A, E8A, E9A and other Kato locos that use a body mounted front coupler and a truck mounted rear coupler without the hassle of modifying the pilot or assembling the coupler. Our #2000-1 provides an assembled #2004 coupler and an #1128 to convert your loco's rear coupler. This package replaces the #1159 coupler conversion.
To install these on locos that do not have a mounting screw in the old coupler you should have the following tools:
- MT1055 Coupler height and Pin Gauge
- MT1059 Tap and drill set
- PinVise
