This 33' USRA panel side twin bay hopper is painted black with large Chesapeake & Ohio® herald, reporting marks and various lettering in white. This hopper was built in December 1918, rebuilt in February 1933, and runs on black Andrews trucks. It is released with a coal load. The raised panel sides on this body style were developed in response to the need to replace the sides of heavily used and rusted hoppers and increase capacity at the same time.
