This 50' standard box car with double plug doors and no roofwalk is painted dark green with light green right plug door. It bears the BCR Dogwood Flower logo, is lettered in white and runs on Barber® Roller Bearing trucks. This car was built in February 1974 by U.S. Railway Manufacturing Co. of Blue Island, IL. Cars designated 'BCIT' apply to an international series used only on traffic between Canada and the United States, while cars designated 'BCOL' can be used on shipments moving within Canada or on international movements. This car is ideally suited for commodities such as lumber where a wider than normal opening is required. The plug doors give additional strength with the convenience of a wider door opening.
