This 50' flat car with fishbelly sides and tarp covered load is painted black with white lettering. Its was built in 1943 by Pullman-Standard and serviced in June 1973. It runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built during the war, this steel underframe car with wood floor proved to be a solid design. After transporting military machinery and equipment for the war effort, they were assigned to various services and ran the rails into the 1980s, many in maintenance-of-way.
