This green 40' standard box car with plug door has BC provincial orange, white & green Dogwood Flower logo, white lettering and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. Built in November 1961, and serviced in February of 1979, #8006 originally wore a Pacific Great Eastern paint scheme. After the government changed the railroad name in 1972, this 12-car fleet was repainted at the BC Rail livery with this orange, white & green Dogwood Flower paint scheme. They were insulated and heater equipped, making the cars useful for a variety of commodities. The series entered into MOW service in the mid 1980’s.
